Clay Blackmore (Oct 10, 2010) 2:00pm - 7:00pm

PhotoFusion Revolution
Inspiration and Passion for getting it right has been Clay's desire for over 32 years. During this 5 hour workshop, Clay will teach you how to command a camera room, an on-location session, wedding, or special event. It all begins with confidence, and confidence is obtained with the knowledge of posing, lighting, composition and refinements.

Posing: Learning how to properly pose your clients is critical to flattering your subjects. Discover Clay’s tips and techniques to help slim your subjects by finding the best angles for their faces and bodies. Learn how to manipulate your images in the camera by posing your subjects properly during the session.

Lighting:  Clay's lighting is three dimensional and dramatic. He will demonstrate how to use various light sources to create form, add depth, draw attention to the face and minimize the body. Clay will walk you through portraits in daylight, open shade, bright sun, and window light. You will also be exposed to studio lights, including both strobes and continuous daylight bulbs.

Composition: Upgrade your sales with consistent group compositions. Learn how to use two stools to effectively compose groups up to seven and learn how to create a grandstand effect with simple armchairs. Clay will discuss the proper camera height and depth for all group portraits and demonstrate the ‘person-by-person’ and ‘reveal-and-conceal’ techniques to make perfect group portraits every time.

Refinements: Business, children, family, couples and senior portraits are all becoming "on-demand." You need the skills required to pose, light and refine each subject in the correct manor. Small easy touches are required in each of the different groups to ensure they are captured correctly. Consistent results are at the heart of this new program!

Bonus! See how Clay has turned his wedding business into a full service studio offering a cinematic approach to everything he does. Come and see the latest in HD video, including a full discussion on stabilization, sound, light, and story telling techniques.
